This week, Dinesh D'Souza's America: Imagine A World Without Her will reach #1 on the New York Times best seller list in all three major categories (Hardcover, eBooks, and Combined Hardcover & eBooks)! Dinesh's book was completely omitted from the list for several weeks, despite outselling several other books that made the New York Times Top 10. Thanks to the support of average Americans, who bought the book and made their voice heard, the New York Times was eventually forced to recognize America and add it to the list. Now, a week later, it has risen to claim the top spot! We greatly appreciate your continued support: read the book behind the movie and fall in love with America all over again! Dinesh D'Souza Appears on Huckabee to Discuss Border Crisis This Saturday evening, Dinesh D'Souza appeared on Huckabee alongside Richard Dreyfuss to discuss the current border security crisis. Tens of thousands of people are showing up at our borders, and Dinesh argues that their presence can be explained not by looking to their home countries, but by looking at our immigration policies here in America. Congressman Randy Forbes | | | In June, I asked whether you supported the actions taken by the Administration in response to the thousands of youth crossing the border, and 92% of respondents said no. Since then, children and adults have continued to flood across our southern border. Now, the President has requested $3.7 billion to address the surge, and the Administration is planning to expand the number of people granted relief from deportation and grant refugee status to people from Honduras before they even come to the United States. I continue to oppose all forms of amnesty, and I believe that entry into this country is a privilege, not a right. Question of the week: Do you believe that the Administration's policies have led to the crisis at the border? ( ) Yes. ( ) No. ( ) I don't know. ( ) Other. Take the Poll here. Congressman Vows to Investigate Google Search Issue for America After nearly three weeks of waiting for a solution to Google's misleading search results for America, Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher has promised to investigate the issue. "This level of inefficiency on the part of Google is not their norm," he said. "It's been established that if they have a problem, they fix it. This should have been fixed in a matter of hours. These guys are pros." Many commentators have speculated that Google was intentionally misleading its users because of the company's political leanings. "If there was an intent to confuse the public about this movie because of its ideological content, then we're going to find out about it," Rohrabacher said. Read more here. For the week of July 27, Dinesh D'Souza's America: Imagine A World Without Her will appear on the New York Times best seller list at #2 in all three major categories (hardcover, eBooks, and combined hardcover and eBooks). This comes after several weeks where Dinesh's book was omitted from the New York Times list, despite outselling several titles that made the New York Times Top 10. Dinesh commented that "it's their newspaper and they have a right to rig their list any way they want, but if they are doing it, people should know." We want to thank all of you who found out about the omission and made your voice heard by purchasing and talking about America. It was the support of average Americans that made the New York Times recognize the book, much like the outcry from average Americans helped reverse Costco's decision to pull America from its shelves. This never could have happened without people like you. We greatly appreciate your continued support: read the book behind the movie and fall in love with America all over again! Jon Voight Urges Viewers to See America Jon Voight appeared on FOX News this weekend to talk about the future of our country. He urged audiences to go to the theater and see Dinesh D'Souza's latest film, America, and discussed the American people's many grievances against the Obama administration. "I'm here because of my heavy heart," Voight said, "that a great man, Dinesh D'Souza . . . is being aggressively, negatively targeted in many ways, and the latest targeting is the boycotting of the great important book America: Imagine A World Without Her, and his film is based on this book. It should be seen by every patriotic American." Watch the video below: | | | | | | |

Congressman Randy Forbes | | | In 2009, two organizations representing the heads of state education departments and the nation's governors developed the Common Core State Standards to provide consistent learning goals across states for what students should know and be able to do at each grade level. Currently, all but seven states – Virginia, Alaska, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and Indiana – have adopted the Common Core State Standards for mathematics and English. As an incentive, states that implement the standards have an increased chance of receiving federal grant money. The goal of the academic benchmark is a focus on comprehension and critical thinking; however, critics believe that tying tests to these standards will actually harm this goal because teachers will teach to the tests rather than working to ensure their students receive a well-rounded education. Question of the week: Do you support the Common Core State Standards or other universal sets of academic benchmarks to measure learning? ( ) Yes. ( ) No. ( ) I don't know. ( ) Other. | | | | | | Google Claims it Will Take 'Some Time' to Fix America Search Results Google has responded to accusations that they have spent weeks delaying a fix for their search-engine problem that made it hard for moviegoers to find accurate information about America. "Our systems have unfortunately confused the title of the movie America because it's a common term and appears in many movie titles," claimed a Google spokesperson. On Monday, a legal representative for D'Souza's film wrote a letter claiming that Google had been "misdirecting many users who mistakenly believed the film was not playing in theaters. We understand this was brought to your attention for correction five days ago, yet the problem persists." Read more here. Costco Reverses Decision to Remove America Book From Stores After an overwhelming protest from Costco members, the warehouse giant has reversed its earlier decision to remove Dinesh D'Souza's new book, America: Imagine The World Without Her, from its shelves. "In light of the success of [D'Souza's] previous books sold by Costco, the release of the companion movie last week and the book's strong Amazon.com sales, among other factors, it's hard to imagine the reason for pulling the book being anything other than 'ideological solidarity with Obama.'" Rush Limbaugh Tells Audiences to See America Radio personality Rush Limbaugh recently predicted that Dinesh D'Souza's America will be "huge" and urged his listeners to go see the film. America opened in theaters over the Fourth of July weekend. "A lot of people don't wish this country well, and [Dinesh] makes the point in the movie that Obama didn't create that movement," Limbaugh said. "The idea that America is the problem in the world, that movement's long existed, and it gave us Obama and many modern-day Democrats." Read more here.
