February 6, 2014 Dear Friends, Last week's debate with Bill Ayers reminded me of the differences between the spirit of 1776 that gave us this great country and the spirit of 1968 – a radical vision for our nation that has brought us to the brink of destruction.   These recent events remind me of how I first "earned Obama's rage," something I shared with The Wrap last year. I will continue to fight for our shared vision of American exceptionalism, and I'm excited that production on my new movie, America, slated for release on Independence Day, is close to wrapping. We need to work together to fight back against the liberal machine that is opposed to our basic freedoms and uses a politicized federal government to exact their vengeance on liberty-loving Americans.
