The Supreme Court originally made the ruling in the early 70s, affirming abortion as a constitutional right and legalizing it across the U.S. This bombshell story has inspired protests around the country in response, reigniting the debate regarding bodily autonomy, medical privacy, and the familiar refrain of "my body, my choice" as a rallying cry from the left after a long hiatus while vaccine mandates spread across the world.
