IMPORTANT UPDATE ABOUT THE SEPTEMBER EVENTS IN WASHINGTON, DC We learned this week that there is a Member Retreat scheduled for Members of Congress on September 12-14. This will make it infinitely harder to get our fighters in Congress to show up to our planned rally on September 12, 2019. We are working to determine if we need to adjust the date, but we wanted to let you know NOT TO BOOK TRAVEL until we can get things squared away with the dates. We are working diligently on this and hope to have an update for you next week. Please stay tuned. Robert– The Democrats just cannot accept the results of the 2016 election. After the Mueller investigation concluded that there was no collusion, the Democrats are continuing down the path of investigation after investigation. Harassing the president, his family, and his associates – all because they simply cannot move on. Speaker Pelosi threw flames on the fire this week when she accused the president of engaging in a cover up. President Trump responded by throwing down the hammer and saying he's no longer going to put up with it. The Democrats can either stop with the ridiculous investigations or the president is not going to cooperate on legislative initiatives. Good for President Trump!   Also this week, sadly Rep. Justin Amash made a bold and reckless statement calling for President Trump's impeachment. Amash has been a vocal critic of the president and instead of focusing on likely abuses of power carried out against the Trump campaign by leaders in the intelligence community, he has chosen to let his disdain for the president capture his focus. Some say he is gearing up to challenge President Trump for the Republican nomination in 2020. We asked our tea party group leaders what they thought and 91.5% said they want Amash removed from the House Freedom Caucus. Time will tell what happens there. President Trump unveiled a new immigration plan to crack down on abuses in our immigration system. He is implementing a "merit-based" system that will favor highly skilled workers seeking visas over migrants with family members living here. Ending the visa lottery system and increasing merit-based immigration practices are two good steps in the effort to realign America's immigration system with our own national priorities, but there's still a lot of work to be done.
