Subject: Meeting with Senator Warner's Office - IMPORTANT - Please see Events Page
A message to all members of Virginia Tea Party Patriots | Good Afternoon Patriots, I just got off the phone with Senator Warner's Chief of Staff. Currently, it is believed that some revised version of The Boehner's plan will pass this afternoon and then the Senate will vote late tonight to table it. So, the next step will be the battle in the Senate. It may be a lost cause to try and meet with Warner's staff; however it would be good for us to make an attempt to meet with them. That meeting has been scheduled for Monday August 1st at 1 PM in Washington. Federation Leaders – if you want to participate – please RSVP on the Event page. I would recommend your broadcast to your local groups; however I need an accurate R.S.V.P. List Monday morning so COS Luke Albee can assure an adequate room size – so if you plan on bringing folks from your local groups – please RSVP a TOTAL number, along with your group name to ScottCooper772@aol.com. While we disagree with Senator Warner on many issues – I assured Mr. Albee that this would be a meeting which would be civil. It is my hope it will also be productive.
