Is America Exceptionally Good Or Exceptionally Bad? Weekly Update from Dinesh D'Souza Dear Friends, In the wake of the tragic shooting in Charleston, SC last week, Obama once again took advantage of a situation and used it to criticize America. When he said that mass shootings just don't happen in "other advanced nations," he suggested that rather than America being exceptional good, it's actually exceptionally bad! The fact of the matter is, he's wrong. They do happen all around the world. And based on the lessons of the USSR, China, North Korea, and Cuba, we know that there are far more mass killings when the state has all the guns! Obama followed up that brilliant criticism of America with more worthless pablum on race this week, and some people think it's profound just because he's black! Listen to his comments: Obama's hatred for the idea of true American exceptionalism stems from his anti-colonial ideology passed down to him by his father, something I wrote about in two books since his election. If I'm wrong about this, I'm waiting for Obama to repudiate it, but he never has and he never will. I'm excited to be speaking around the country more this summer now that I'm free to travel outside of San Diego county! I kick off my "comeback tour" with a couple of sessions at FreedomFest next month in Las Vegas, followed immediately by a joint engagement with Tim Tebow in Tennessee where we'll be discussing God's plan for America. I hope to see you at one or both of these events! Over the course of the last eight months, I've been amazed by the growth of my networks online, and they have served as a way for me to continue my path to the restoration of America, even while serving my confinement sentence.
