Trump Scares The Pants Off The GOP Weekly Update from Dinesh D'Souza Dear Friends, Jay Nordlinger interviewed me for his National Review podcast this week, and we touched on a lot: Obama, higher ed, 2016, "fairness," my time in confinement, India, immigration, Trump and more. Click here to listen to the full podcast. And speaking of Trump, the billionaire businessman ruffled more feathers this week when he pointed out that our first black president has been terrible for blacks. He's right—Obama has eroded the wealth of blacks and sent black unemployment rates soaring. To explain more about why Trump scares the pants off the GOP establishment, I spoke with conservative radio host Steve Batton. Listen to the discussion here: I had a great time speaking with two patriotic groups of Americans in the past two weeks. On August 1, I spoke to a sold-out crowd in Modesto, California, where I shared convict stories and got a chance to sign books and meet hundreds of patriots. And on July 29, I was honored to address the Republican Women of Prescott in Arizona, where we talked about what it will take to win in 2016. And perhaps one of my favorite events from this past week was the annual Young Americas Foundation Conservative Student Conference in D.C. Every time I get to speak to young men and women who are concerned about the future of America, I become heartened that there is so much interest in what will make America great again. My YAF speech was all about the tactics of the left and how we can overcome them in the upcoming year. The left subverted and stole America from us, and this is our opportunity to restore her. Watch the full, 60-minute speech right here: As I look forward to the Republican debate tonight, I can't help but watch Hillary continue to fall in the Democratic polls. How much longer can she fake it? The latest polls show that the more people get to know Hillary, the less they like her. While you're watching the debate tonight, post your thoughts on my Facebook Page—I want to know what you think about the future of America and the future of the GOP! Sincerely, Dinesh D'Souza P.S. This American Thinker op-ed criticizes Judge Berman's "colossally unethical psychology practice"—do you agree? |
