Dinesh D'Souza Attacks Government's Legal Actions Against Aaron Swartz in New Film America Dinesh D'Souza's latest film, America, includes a segment examining the Obama administration's handling of the Aaron Swartz case. The segment includes an interview with Rand Paul, who discusses some of the long-term ramifications of the government's abuse of power. "I wanted to share the story of Aaron Swartz in order to help Americans to recognize the kind of power that our government has over us and how they can use that power," D'Souza said. "Americans across the spectrum should unite against this kind of heavyhanded abuse of power." Watch the clip from America here. Petition to Allow Soldiers to See America Begins A petition on the White House's "We The People" page is requesting that the Obama administration allow Dinesh D'Souza's new film America to be released on U.S. military bases around the world. The petition needs 100,000 signatures to succeed. "At this time," the petition reads, "there are no plans for the film to be released on U.S. military bases around the world. Since this is a patriotic film that celebrates America, we are asking the White House to allow this film to be seen by the men and women who have sacrificed for our country, at movie theaters around the world which happen to be located on U.S. military installations."
