Giuliani Gets It Right: Obama Is Anti-Colonialist Weekly Update from Dinesh D'Souza Dear Friends, This week, Mayor Giuliani touched a raw nerve by suggesting Obama doesn't love America, possibly because of his anti-colonial ideology. That nerve is not merely Obama's anti-Americanism; it is the anti-Americanism of the entire progressive left. My book, The Roots of Obama's Rage, lays out what Giuliani was getting at—Obama's active undermining of American interests. Giuliani's point isn't really that Obama hates America; it's that he hates the very things that make America unique. As a followup to Giuliani's comments, I joined Juan Williams and National Review's Kevin Williamson on Sean Hannity's show to explain, well, the roots of Obama's rage. Watch here: Giuliani was right: Obama has consistently undermined our allies and enabled our enemies to consolidate power. Not only does Obama refuse to call Islamic terrorists "Islamic," he refuses to call their Christian victims "Christian." He only uses the term "Muslim" to refer to victims and "Christian" to refer to perpetrators! What Obama ignores in all his sanctimonious gobbledygook is that Islam is the only religion today to spawn all this murderous violence. Obama wants Americans to stop clinging to their guns and religion—so why doesn't he ask the same of Muslims? I also appeared on Newsmax TV to defend my #ObamaSelfie tweet from last week, at which the left immediately yelled "RACIST!" On Steve Malzberg's show, I debated a progressive writer who conceded that, well... it wasn't racist. Watch here: I was pleased to hear that EPIX will be streaming America on their website for any of their cable subscribers, so if it's included in your cable package, log on and watch the film for free! And if you're in Georgia, your sons or daughters may soon have the opportunity to see the film in school for free! Like Florida did already, Georgia lawmakers just introduced a resolution urging schools to show my America film as an antidote to left-wing propaganda. And a Texas lawmaker is already working on a similar bill, making Texas the third state to seek political diversity in the classroom! Sincerely, Dinesh D'Souza P.S. It's hilarious to see Brother Al on the receiving end of a race discrimination suit! |
